Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Background Flagellin protein FliA(H), also named RNA polymerase sigma factor for flagellar operon, Sigma F and Sigma-28, is belonging to the sigma-70 factor family or FliA subfamily. Sigma factors are initiation factors that promote the attachment of RNA polymerase to specific initiation sites and are then released. This sigma factor controls the expression of flagella-related genes. May regulate the expression of genes involved in virulence.
